I know this isn’t about fishing but am sure alot of you are also hunters. I am going to plant a few apple trees were I hunt and I was just wandering if any of you know if there is a special kind that deer like more then other. Thanks!
Nah, they’re not real fussy. They like ripe ones and that’s all you need! We have a few apple variations out at my parent’s place and it’s a struggle keeping the deer away from all of them! They like the buds too so you have to protect them if you expect any “fruit for your labor”!
Now, if you plan eating any yourself or for pie making, the sweeter the apple, the sweeter the pie! Golden Delicious ALL THE WAY!!!
