There seems to be a software bug on certain Lowrance H2Oc’s. I was not able to turn off the pop-up help on my unit, you know the info that pops up when you move your cursor over a lake or highway, etc. Thanks to Aquajoe, the problem has been solved. Here is the key sequence if you’re interested in seeing the whole map when moving your cursor on the map:
In ADVANCED MODE:
From the map:
MENU (1st page)
MENU (2nd page)
Scroll to SYSTEM SETUP
ENT
Uncheck POP-UP HELP
ESC
MENU (to return to 1st page of menu)
Scroll to MAP DATA
ENT
Uncheck POP-UP HELP
PWR the unit off before exiting this screen
PWR up and the pop-ups will be gone.
