I took in my rig in last week and my tilt/trim is weak and needs to be replaced. My estimate with labor was $500.

My mechanic said he would be fine if I could find a used hydraulic plunger and he would slap it on for me.

Where do folks find used outboard parts?

Another place you could try is Tims Outboards in Hackensack, MN. I don’t have the number, but if you google it, you’ll find it.

There’s a retired outboard mechanic in Minong, Wi. I will try to get his name and #.
