    Has anybody ventured over to the vermillion river (by Hastings)? Was wondering if it has adequate ice?

    Very little if any! Tuckner looked it over the other day. Not adivable yet.

    Ice?? I was debating on taking my boat down there on Sunday because I am sure that it is probably still open water.

    I have fished the spot off of 10th st in hastings and got into some decent crappies in years past…is there spots at that access where you can catch walleyes?
    Also, is the limit 10 or 25 for crappies there? I’m inclined to think it’s 25.

    It’s considered “boarder water” till you get down to the tressel. As far as the walleye’s are concerned, There are a couple spots,But unaccesible at this time.
