Just called Crystal Pierz!

As some of you know, I had a problem with my ’04 Johnson a couple weeks ago. Well I took it into Crystal Pierz here in Hastings and through my conversation with him, He couldn’t find any info on the warranty.So he called 61 Marine and they forgot to send in my numbers off my motor when I bought it so As of Nov.1st….I have 3 years of full warranty left on my motor! Finally.With all the bad things that have happened to me this fall, Something goes right!

And about the motor……… He said that they thought it was the lower main seal. So they ordered in the parts and are working on it as we speak! They are also replacing the oil cooler on it and will give it a test to make sure it’s not “Making” oil. So I should have it back within a couple day’s! Just in time for it to get cold again! Man I miss the river!!! Oh yeah….It’s under warranty!!!

That a boy Chap! Well I’m glad to hear that for the first time a dealership screwed up, and it actually came out better for the customer. Especially talking about this dealership.

Josh/Howard at Crystal are nice guys, I’ve had good luck with them.

Looking at the forecast, you still should have some time to hit old man river.

On a side note, Jami ask why I was using a rental boat on P4 a couple weeks ago…I told him it was because I don’t have any friends that would take me fishing that have boats! (wink wink)

Now that’s the kind of scew up I like. Nothing like an “extended” warrenty.

Well…….I took the oldest brother Clarence out this AM to school him on the piching bite and I was the one that got Schooled. We only caught 4 fish and none of them being big enough to warrant a picture. Anyway…..As I slipped the boat in the water this am it seemed to be running fine! Sweet,be able to fish all the spots this AM! WRONG! After a couple minutes,I noticed My knock was back in the engine again We made it up to the dam and fished till 9:30 or so and loaded her up and took it back to Crystal pierz. He said he’s going to suggest a new power head for it…… Hope the warranty guy’s say yes! Glad I’m going through this now rather than in the spring!

Hopefully it gets fixed right this time, I still owe ya a trip, we’ll see how long it takes to get my new trolling motor, then I’ll be water ready again. I’ll let you know.
