Well fishing is something that she hasn’t done, but she wants to.

Congrats kiddo…start her of with firecracker/chartrues…then go to a green tail with a black head jig!

….but what ever you do…don’t let her catch a cat!

    ..and always remember…

    Chris,
Take her down to Pool 4 in middle March, in Goose lake as the edges are melting, and there WILL be 300 Eagles there at one time. I took my wife there last March, and now she wants one of the pics I took put on our Christmas card..
    Winter is looking up,
    Jack..

It’ll take some time and practice but once she figures out how to jiggle that worm she’ll be a pro in no time!

Congrats sir! But does she know/approve of this post? Old married guy here and I’m always trying to avoid ticking the mrs off. Of course, I still do tick her off. It is unavoidable. Have fun!

Hey Buddy Way to go. She looks fantastic in the shadow grass. I remember my first girlfriend like it was yesterday. Now I wish I could forget the one i have now. Haha just kidding I love her to death. Take it easy now it only gets harder as you get older. They start to want stupid little rocks that cost more than the new pro-v that you want. Again congrats champ.

Way to go! Just remember…don’t teach her EVERYTHING you know about fishing, or she’ll be outfishing you all the time. You can chalk the first three or four trips up to beginners luck.

    Well well well
    How fast they grow up!
Shane asked for my thoughts so I will give you a few.
I tend to be pro-active versus re-active so the boy and I have been talking girlfriends for a while now. He understands the pitfalls of picking the wrong one and I trust his jugement completely. Kara is a very nice young lady and the boy has made sure that she is aware of his other passions in life.
On a side note, Chris ice fished both days this last weekend so this girlfriend thing hasn’t cut down on fishing time too much. Plus the two of them got some of our Christmas shopping done for us on Friday. Ya gotta love that youthful energy!

    hey redneck,

you be sure to call me when Jr. can’t make it for a trip in the boat fishing, I will down there in a flash!! I guess someone will have to drive mrs. daisey around, ok in your case, mr. daisey! going to be a new experience for you redneck, no one to drive you and the boat around so you can look and wave at everyone else.

hey that is cool you 2 guys talked, that is important, good luck and hopefully see you this spring on 4.

Treat her right, as they say…Hell knows no wrath like that of a woman!

Nice to see a young man raised on a solid foundation, with all his priorites in a row, find a special girl to enjoy life with! Good Luck to you both!

It’s sure nice that your “fishing buddies” get to see a picture of your girlfiend before your brother does!! Holli wants to know when and if ever we get to meet her? I’ll call brother Wade over when we do for a proper redneck-in @ outlaw welcome.

Ok, I’m going to kind of just lump everyones replies into one, so here goes. Yes she knows that I put it up, and she thinks its “cute.” She does want to learn about the outdoors and I will try to tech her as much as I know, who knows she might even teach me something. Dad made sure that I knew the imoprtance of finding a girl willing who know that I live an outdoor oriented life and she wants to be a part of it with me.

P.S. Wally, I had pictures of her at Thanksgiving, I was showing Jenn them, all you had to do was ask. You can meet her the next time you are coming up here. I’m not so sure about Wade though, I might make him cry.

Does everyone remember the last young guy who was all into the outdoors and then found a girlfriend? We haven’t heard much from him since. Chris are you turning into another Jake?? Run while you can.
