Alright, heres the deal. I’m a college student at the Univeristy of Minnesota. I have a project due tomorrow afternoon that requires me to conduct an informational interview and then write a paper about it. I’ve been so busy with my other classes I put this project off because its only a two credit class. Anyways, the time has come to do it but I have yet to set up my interview. Seeing as how its due tomorrow I don’t think I’m going to get around to doing it. So i’ve been thinking about just finding one on google, but it just hit me that there might be a cop on IDA that I could possibly learn something from. So if there is, and if you would be willing to answer a few questions for me I would really appreciate it!

So here is my list of questions, if you work anywhere in the field of law enforcement I would really appreciate it if you could fill these out!

    What is your name?

Are you married, if so, what does your wife think about your career?

Do you have children, if so, what do they think about your career?

What is your official job title?

How long have you been working in the field of law enforcement?

Overall, has it been an enjoyable experience for you?

When did you decide that you wanted to be a cop?

Where did you go to school, and for how many years?

Do you feel that your schooling adequately prepared you for a job in law enforcement?

I have heard that rookie cops usually have to work nights and weekends. When you first got your job, what kind of hours did you work.

Do you feel there is room for advancement in your field?

Have you personally recieved any promotions?

Have you ever been injured on the job? If so, what was the situation?

In general, what would you say the average law enforcement officer makes annualy?

Are you satisfied with the amount of money you make? If you are married, does your spouse also work?

Do you think your job allows you enough family time?

If you could start your life over again, would you still become a police officer?

Like you all said, IDA is FANTASTIC! Thank you everyone for your help, I received two PM’s and they will be more than sufficient. I’m counting down the days until my last final (Dec. 20th) so I can hit Mille Lacs for some jumbos and eyes!

Kind of obscure Drake. And it dates back to the Clem Haskins era. But I enjoyed it!

That may well be the best example I have ever experienced, of the pot calling the kettle black
    Me, obscure?
