Does anybody remember when it used to actually snow before we put up Christmas lights?
I have this red “V” ooking thing in my yard but I can’t remember what it is used for??????????
How many when they hear Blizzard think of DQ and not the storm?
I remember lots of years when there was snow on the ground by Dec 1st but then I’m 49+ years old. 2 out of the past 3 years we had snow on the ground the first weekend in December here in NE Iowa. Yesterday’s forecast was calling for a few inches but all we ended up with was a little ice, sleet and very little snow. I was looking forward to some snow on the ground for the first shotgun season this weekend but it isn’t looking good for that now. We might get a dusting here in the Dubuque area tonight and tomorrow but it is doubtful. Besides I hunt 70 miles north of here. There was 2 to 3 inches on the ground up there almost 3 weeks ago now but that was all gone by that Sunday.

Let’s get some solid ice before that first big snow. We all know what that white stuff does to developing ice. Love2Fish

When’s the last time you actually got stuck in the snow?

Only a couple weeks ago…we had 16″…
I remember tunneling like a rat under the snow in our yard…it was actually deep enough when I was a kid, nowadays only a mole could do that!

Remember when people knew how to drive in the snow
NOPE!

Yesterday, almost. I live north of Milwaukee and we got about 10 inches. Some guy was coming down a county road sideways and I had to hit the farm field. Luckily the truck kept going and I managed to get back on the road.
