Well, you may be right, I may be crazy, but I’m going to do it again. It will be 10 years this December since my mom passed, and I was fired from my last radio job. With 25 years of experience I decided why not. Today, I agreed to take a position as a morning man at a small market station. I’m looking for an apartment and should be back behind the mic early next week. There’s something about a new job at my age that is a bit…exciting/scary/unusual . Now I just need to figure out how to make more time for fishing.

    Thanks Mike.
It’s in Grinnell IA, and only covers a few counties in E Central IA. Primarily Poweshiek, but also Tama, Marshall, and Linn counties.

Talk them in to a net cast…I’ll have Don Hanson pipe it into his next report.

    Congrats old man!

How about you do a half-hour outdoor show while you are on the air….is that a possiblility? Good Luck to you!

Good Luck with your new job.
I also really enjoyed listening to you. That was my favorite station until they changed everything.

Congratualtions on the new job Dave. I did a stint on the radio while stationed over seas. Was one of two building on the island with air-conditioning.

It’s amazing how difficult to is to setup another residence, like a kid going off to school, only that was 35 years ago
