    Hey all
    I’m back. Went to Galveston, TX to be with my daughter for the big T Day.
    She and I went fishing while I was there. But not much going on. I got a BUNCH of blue crabs and a sheephead. She had a couple crabs and got a flounder. Weather was perfect the whole time. Had a great time. But always nice to be back home.

    Wow!!! We go from fishing machine catching crabs in Texas to cutting off herb’s cookies. And it all started out so innocently.
    Yeah, Sal, I’m ashamed for all of them.

    Briank you know I had the camera with me and was so busy with them er a hmm a crabs I forgot to take any pics. Sorry.

    And a er a I think Herb did get his cookies cut off. I didn’t make any for him this trip when he came up. I was so busy trying to get things settled in for me to leave.

    We did fish from some peirs and in the cannels. Needed either a boat or waders to go out in the gulf. And we had neither.

    Ummm…

    Don’t really want to but in …..but,

    I have 2 brothers in Houston …not big time fisher guy’s but they try… …..

    Well anyway ,Me and my bud were thinking about a spring pig hunt and maybe a couple of days of fishing.

    Any tips?? (fishing wise)

    in the spring when the warm fronts start moving in the flounder start moving back into the bay. Surf fishing gets better to. ya can get speckled trout and croaker usually.Surf fishing is my favorite. and if your lucky ya can get blacktip sharks. Good eating!!!
