I had to put the boat away for the winter. I hope to get out to the river a few times this winter with friends in there boat. Maybe next year after I see how you guy’s do this on the river I’ll won’t put it away. So bring on the ice.

I did the same thing today. It was a tough decision since I planned to keep it out until everything was froze. But, I decided the time had come to put it in the comfort of the storage shed

Yeppper, cleaned/washed/vacuumed/winterized the engine on Sunday and taking it to the pole barn tonight. It was a great season for me this year. This picture was only one of my highlights.

As hookem69 said, bring on the ice!

I went fishing yesterday and starting putting her away last night. I will finish the job tonight.

My wife keeps telling me to quit fishing so I can spend some time Christmas shopping. Apparently my four boys want something for Christmas other than a fish

Putting the boat away is more painful than I thought

    Mike,
My boat still has a few eyes to be caught this year. If you are still feeling an inch to get out before the ice arrives, send me a pm. FDR

Am waiting for the phone call from my youngest son saying hes made room for my boat at his place for storage. Still have a jon boat though that my oldest daughter said I could store in her garage this winter which would make it nice and conveinent to take out fishing. But yes, it is sad when we have to put part of us in storage for the winter. Both boats that I have now were bought in the fall time of the year. I have to quit doing it that way cause its too painfull to put it away when haven’t gotten to use it alot before storage time. Whoever invented winter anyway? Sure wasn’t me. Oh well, must be time to get myself to start thinking of ice fishing. At least I’m fishing.

    Thanks, Bill

Looks like the approaching cold front has made a few of us think alike. It is a lot easier to get things put away while it is warm out then when your fingers are froze

Put the Duck boat away today But looking back it was the best season I have ever had for ducks in MN. Good thing all I had to do was help flip it over and bag some deeks.

    BRING ON THE ICE ASAP!
