Hey, Anyone ever try on of those metal bladed weed wipe brush hogg clearing things, I think Stil makes em?? I was wondering if they work, I need to clear out some little brush and small poplar trees coming up in my shooting lanes!! Any one have any feed back on these??
I assume youre gonna rent? These work great, but dont try to bite off more than it can chew. If youre not gonna rent, make sure and spend the money. You get what u pay for

So do they work then?? How big of tree or brush can you go through?? How much do they cost, any ideal??
Stihl makes them…I think they come in 250, 350 and 450…haven’t seen anyone carry anything bigger than a 250 around here…bought one this fall for up at the deer camp. Paid around 300 for the unit and then another 30 for the blade. Will cut through a 2-3 inch tree like your weeding grass. A must for clearing small brush/trees.
