Took a little break from unpacking a couple of weekends ago to do a little hunting. Our group had 14 licenses and ended up with 13 deer. We quit a day early because that was enough work for one year. Here was my contribution to the hunt. Not my biggest but not too bad. 18″ spread and 9″ tines.
Haven’t had time to do any fishing yet and will probably have to wait until hard water if this #%^& warm weather goes away.
Here’s what I meant by work. This is 600 lbs of bologna and Mettwurst hanging to dry before going into the smoke house. Another 200 lbs went into plastic bags for fry meat. Mmm-mmm. There may be some of this available for a GTG this winter.

Seriously Putz, nice deer. I can appreciate that sausage pic and the work, my son’s bunch butchered and processed a dozen at once last year after gun season. He said it was fortunate he didn’t have to do more until near the end of bow season
