I just got back last night from an awesome vacation in Puerto Vallerta Mexico. Stayed at an all-inclusive (Canadian owned) resort. Wonderful people, extremely clean, reasonably priced, fantastic experience.

I know that there is a war going on, which made for some great conversations. Canadians, Brits, Mexicans all love us and are thankful that the US is there to step up and take care of Saddam. Almost all of the Canadians that we talked to were ashamed that their Government wasnt there to support the USA.

Didnt make it fishing-but saw LM Bass fishing 1 1/2 hours away and of course the ocean offers plenty of opportunities. Saw a large group of killer whales cruising the shore just outside the resort.

Cant wait to get back! But, it is great to be home too.

I second that. I was in Xtapa in January. Way cool. Fishing, laying on the beach. Cool people. We didnt stay at any of the big resorts there but still had a nice place. We did do 4 days of ocean fishing. After the first two trips we had a combo of 16 sailfish and mahie mahie (spelling). At the end of the trip we saw a 750# marlin brought into the pier. Wow. Fighting that must of been like winching a old car out of the river.
Looking forward to making this trip a yearly thing. The wife said she was not interisted in going so a fishing trip it shall be.
