I figured out the problem
The defense is soooo good the offense cant get enough rest. Hence they are too tired to score from the 3 yard line.

That touch down from the 3 sure would have been GOOD
@##$%$^^&**^$ I GUESS THERE IS ALWAYS NEXT YEAR
It’s time that everyone give up on the vikes. Start supporting the best team in Minnesota (aside from the Twins)… the Wild.
hey Jumbo,
I 2nd that statement. the wild rock!!! just hope that they can continue to get the Wins.

I was out deer-hunting all day (hunting takes precedence even over my beloved Vikings), and I had no idea what had happened in Miami until 6:00. Since I didn’t watch or listen to the game, I will simply ask the following:
Is Brad Johnson still looking for a raise?
Will the Vikings win more than one game? I say yes: they will probably beat the Cardinals, and possibly beat Detroit. That is it.
Is it time for Tarvaris Jackson, as some Viking blogs are saying? No. Jackson is coming off knee surgery from earlier this season, and how ever strong his arm and fast his feet were in pre-season, the rookie from Alabama State is probably not ready to step in this season. (I am all for throwing former Badger Brooks Bollinger to the wolves, though. )
On the bright side, the Vikings are mounting an inspired run at the Calvin Johnson sweepstakes. It is probably too late to secure the top spot in the draft, but a top-ten pick seems likely, with a top-five a possibilty.

At least they looked better than the Packers!!!!

Seems to me we beat Miami in Miami rather convincingly. We now have 2 tie breakers, head to head and common opponents. Our game with the Pats was not on National TV either.
The Purple offense has finally proved it’s time for a change. I would like to see Jackson get a chance at QB, but I am sure Bollinger will get the nod from Childress. About a month ago, the Vikes were 4-2 after beating the Seahawks. ouch…..
Who cares about the past GB wins. I am a diehard Packer Fan, but the loss to new England on Sunday and the way they played was dis-graceful.
Don’t be suprised if the Vikes beat the Pack at Lambeau.
As for the future, perhaps the Packers is a bit better. I can guarantee you Vikings fans that Brooks Bollinger is not an NFL QB and never will be. I am still trying to figure out why he ended up in the NFL.

Viking’s fans can claim 2006 as a rebuilding year if they suffer a losing season even if no actual rebuilding takes place. This packer fan already had this season pegged as a rebuilding year, they look good one week and can look like the worst team I have ever seen the next. This weekend could be real interesting.
how about those vikings loosing to miami which i was told two weeks ago really sucks after they beat my bears. HMMMMMMMMMM Now they beat the queens. I was right on my bears prediction as well against the jets and next week i will give them a 7 point spread over NE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No one here is claiming the Vikings are a good team. As my post noted, I expect them to win no more than two more games this season. What this particular Bear fans’ point about the Vikings losing to another lousy team like Miami proves is less than clear. The Vikings narrowly lost at Miami; the Bears lost soundly to the Dolphins at Soldier Field. That does not exactly cover the Bears with glory.
It does, however, suggest that the “best team in the NFC” is not all that great if they too “loose” (I assume this is supposed to mean “lose”) to a lousy team like Miami. This mediocre Minnesota team almost beat “the best team in the NFC” at the start of the season. If the Bears were truly so great, they would not (a) lose at home to a lousy team like Miami, (b) struggle against a lousy team like the Cardinals, and (c) squeak out a win against a lousy team like the Vikings.
Patriots by eighteen over the Bears. Bellichick and co. exposed Brad Johnson and Brett Favre–they are going to dismantle Rex Grossman.
