Pool 4 and Pool 5 newbie

I would like to make my first trip to either Pool 4 or Pool 5. Was wondering if there is an on-line map of the water somewhere that will tell me where to land the boat and what obsticles to look out for. If not, are there maps I could purchase at a bait shop near the water? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

try the MN DNR website. they have a complete list of hundereds of maps. just choose a couple off the list and send it to them via e-mail. they are free and are very helpful.

hi Mark, Use Evertt’s resort, Steve has a map that he will mark for you and also show you where the few wingdams are, he can also tell you what is working and what isn’t. his link should have a map and directions on how to find Evertt’s, good luck Jack.

for pool 5 your best bet would be the landing on the south end of alma it is right behind the cenex there, very good facilities.
