EFN websites to be “off-line” for 24 hrs…..

Hey everyone.

Time for one of those website upgrades and this one is a biggie! I wanted to let everyone know that the EFN forums on FTR and FTL will be off-line and unavailable from 11:59 PM Saturday (29th) night to midnight on Sunday (30th). My thinking is that doing things this way will interupt things as little as possible around here since that day is one of our lighter traffic days.

This is just a heads up. I don’t anticipate any problems as this upgrade has been worked through for bugs, etc for some time now and confidences are very high that we will be back on-line and ready for “business as usual” well before Sunday at midnight if things go well.

Here is something James shared with me:

It won’t be so bad. We will actually be making the
forums “read-only” so guys will still be able to browse existing posts… but you won’t be able to add any new ones for that 24 hour period. And when the forums open back up I’m quite certain everyone will like the change.
