    Hi Guys…
well been a while since I last posted… Im always snapping pix… heres some stuff from this fall….
first.. heres a shot from fishing… went out with Dustin the other day… and one of my buddies got the biggest fish.. instead of following my normal instincts of tripping and knocking him out of the boat… I took his photo… (man.. I must be getting old!)

for quite a while Ive been trying to get a shot of a pileated woodpecker… they are VERY shy around here… anytime I even move they fly.. but I was able to sneak a couple of shots the other day.. neither is as good as I want… but Ill keep trying… this one was actually shot right out the window Im sitting next to right now… I looked up they other day.. and there he was about 20 feet away on the big oak right outside my window….

thats it for birds… as I was doing my fall cleanup I found a couple of animals getting ready to hibernate around my yard.. heres a gray tree frog.. we sure have LOTS of them…. unlike your usual frog they dont go to water to hibernate.. they just find a place they feel safe and hole up for the winter.. they can actually surive being frozen solid!!

or I tried holding a grape leaf up to the sun with one hand and taking a photo with the other… kinda strange I guess… but trying different things can be interesting…

After looking at those photo’s I don’t deserve to ever operate a camera!!

I envy your talent, the older I get the more I wish I could take decent photo’s.
