Thought you’d like to see the finished Mount of Chappy’s 11 1/2 pound Walleye he caught this last Spring on Pool 3.

This fish was caught using a 7 inch Bullhead, on a 10/0 hook while fishing for Catfish with BrianK. Who would have thought that would work. This fish is not the only one they caught and was mounted as it was not releaseable, they tried for a long time, but just didn’t make it..

    Congrats again Chappy…

A view from the front shows the real tongue and gills retained in the head.

    Jack…
Just for the fun of it, could you put some rubber whiskers on it? Maybe rub a little stink bait on it too?

    Very nice mount!

Amazing mount. Would it help if there was something next to it so that its size could be better appreciated?

    Whew! She’s a pretty one!

Dang it Jack, if I would have known that she was going to turn out that nice, I would have kept all the big walleyes we caught!

Thank-you Guys for the nice comments..

Tuck- Whiskers???? that would be a nice touch, wouldn’t it?? It can be done before Chappy comes over this afternoon, but better not..

Big G- I gave Chappy some body material so he could carve a Bullhead, but not sure how that is coming. One could always be added, that’d be cool, and then throw in the 10/0 hook that caught it, which I still have.

Kooty- Yours is going on the driftwood tonight, and will get a few pics also.
