    a really good run!… that dog survived things that wouldve killed most any dog I know…. talk about took a lickin and kept on tickin… but he will always be there in your heart…. sorry to hear bout your loss… maybe hes up there playing with a few of my past buddies….

    Dang you Jon – Now I got a darn lump in my throat. Sorry to here it. I think I might give my 9yr old lab a few extra stomach scratches tonight………

    Sorry to hear about your loss Jon Chopper was a great dog. My German Short Hair turned 10 this year, I hope I have as many good years with her as you did with Chopper

    Sorry to hear it. Only thing worse than losing them is to have to put them down. I have done it by Vet only once, never again. No more cold steel tables, no more needles….I owe them that “last hunt”.

    Jon,
    Sorry for your loss. I only had the pleasure of meeting Chopper once, but that was all it took. He was truly a great friend for you and those you allowed to get to know him, and formidable to those he was supposed to be. Thanks for sharing some of your great memories of a damn good run
