Big Money Musky Tourney !!!

    Looks like the musky world is going to get its first “BIG” money tourney.

    No details on the link yet, but must be in the works.

    I’ve been told it is a $2500.00 entry fee. 5 day tournament.

    First Prize = $100,000

    Broadcast on Fox sports in the winter.

    PMTT’s Entry fee for 4 qualifiers and 1 championship is: $1800.00

    First prize = $20,000 x 4 = $80,000 + the Championship 1st prize $40,000 = $120,000

    I will go with the 4 events + the championship if my money was tight. Of course I will most likely do both but $2500.00 is steep for one tournament. I’d rather vacation on LOTW or the Big V for that kind of cash.

    Hey Midge,

    My good friend “Muskytom” and I will be there on our home waters, going for the big payout. I’m sure this tournament will fill up fast. You know every major sponsor in the muskie world will have a team representing them. The way the entry fee payment is set up, it won’t be that hard for most guys to get in.

    Well boys, I am sure I will see ya on the water prefishing alot in the next 2 summers.

    Might even have to stop by the famous island with some Scooby Snacks and try to entice some hot spots out of you

    Hey Midge,

    Tom and I both live on Pike bay, 5 miles apart. I’m on the west end and Tom is in the narrows as you go into Big Bay. We will be happy to share all of our “little fish” spots with you.

    We sent in our entry this morning, I may go crazy waiting a year and a half but we are IN! Did you find a partner?….or are you stuck with Cady..

    I am officially stuck with Cady. Although, we will see how the PMTT goes this year.

    If he fails to catch a legal in any tourny this year, I may have to force him to renegotiate our tournament contract

    It is going to be a LONG 1.5 years waiting for this one !!!
