I’d like to say good job to Steve for starting these various “Fish the lake” topics. Its beneficial to get opinions from people who fish different species and different waters, because often you can apply them. Some of the hottest “new techniques” are really just old techniques applied slightly differently to a different species or situation. So lets keep up the learning

One way to help EFN grow is to share the site location & info with your local newspaper/sports reporter.

EFN has a system set up to provide a link to news paper reporters for area fishing reports to be downloaded from our server to the reporters email… all the reporter need do is click on a link and he will have the latest fishing report by Chris Beeksma, Sean Colter, DeeZee, Musky Midget, etc…

That report may be used in print with the reference that it came from http://www.fishthelake.com or http://www.fishtheriver.com. This would be a big boost to our visibility and area recognition.

Also of great help is that I want to add many more media staff, field-staff and pro-staff to our ranks. This helps EFN grow geographly. We are now at 45+ on staff and I want to grow to 150 in the next year.

I would like you who are in positions as EFN Field-Staff and EFN Pro-Staff to suggest and help recrute a person (who lives in your area) that would be interested in being on EFN Media Pro-Staff.

This person would accompany you to locations when you fish and shoot digital pixtures & do digital video recordings of you while you fish. This media person could also help you prepair the editorial your reports. A media staffer can be a great help in getting you added recognition on EFN with their photos… photos that you can not physically take… and thus, be a valuable aid to you and your sponsors.

A media staff person is a person you know that is going to be “out there” fishing anyway… someone you know that would enjoy following you round… and would like to be helping to promote you as a pro. The media person you choose should not be a pro themselves, nor fish regular in tournaments, nor be so busy on a basis that he/she could not be available when you need them. This person too will need to have computer knowledge and their own quality photography equipment / digital camera and computer. Being On Media Pro-Staff will allow them to also be recognized on EFN and benifit from group sponsors of EFN.

If you have a person in mind that you would consider to be a good EFN Media Pro-Staff canidate, please have them contact Dave Koonce (ECNOOK) Media Pro-Staff Director here at EFN, or myself.

Other ways to get EFN moving is to print the main page out and simply give it to your friends…. a no brainer. Tell them to check you out right here! Tell them and all you meet that…

“EFN is the source for instant fishing information”… and that they should CATCH what they are missing !
