I read today in the Trib that due to the open water on Forest Lake they will be allowing anglers to fish any lake in the area and bring their fish to the Northland Mall to be weighed in. I was wondering how they would be able to make sure the 12-3pm hours were followed. Seems like a lot of possible problems.

I am really wondering how they will deal with that format. I thought it was a little out of control last time I fished in it, and everybody was on one lake, although its been years. That’s alot of people to keep track of. I have a feeling we will be reading more in the paper after this event than before.

I agree about the tourney hours too. You know there will be some guys fishing plenty of days prior trying to catch “the big one” then keeping it alive until the tourney rolls around.

Way too many idiots out there that would try to cheat with this format in my opinion.

Isnt the biggest rewards for the 100th biggest fish or something like that??? That would limit some of the incentive to cheat.

I believe it is a biggie but not as big as the biggest.
If that made sense. That 12-3 fish time is going to be the tough part if not impossible. We will see I guess.

1st place is an F150. 100th is $10000. There are a couple sleds or atvs mixed in.
