Hi folks, I am in charge of pulling the dock on the island on Vermilion this year, it is a lift-out style where the dock pivots at the shore (not a roll-out). The dock is a 40′ w/ L on the end, steel frame.
Anybody know how much pulling capacity one needs to safely remove this thing? I’m considering buying a warn utility winch to pull it out, cranking on the comealong is tough work. What size should I get? Theres a 4700 lb 12V winch for about 500 bucks I found.
