Thin ice update

    I was actually at George today when they put the sign up at the access. It was about 2pm. My walleye partner just moved up right by there and had been doing pretty good on pike during the day and crappies at night. There was at least one house that had one side that was under water. We decided to hit a couple other 50-100 acre lakes in the area. There was 8″ of ice, but last week people were driving out. BE CAREFUL for the next week or so til things can freeze up a bit.

    Reports say that there are ice fishing houses that have gone through the ice on Shields, French and Mazaska Lakes by Fairbault Mn. Please be carefull. Your life is much more important than a few fish
