Is it just me (veryl likely) or did others find the eye bite on the big pond to be very slow on Sunday afternoon/evening? Beautiful night, couldn’t find the fish with bobbers or trolling.

    Thanks

We ended up landing a total of 6 fish and 1 northern, but we had at least 5-7 fish coming unbuttoned!!!

It was a nice evening though!!!! Can’t beat fishing in a sweatshirt on an October evening!!!

We had a slow night on sat. , on sunday we pulled plugs for three hrs. 3 keepers – 5 between 25″ & 26 1/2″ so it wasn’t to bad.

    Cal Call or PM me.

Saturday we did fairly well, but last night was unbelieveable. We messed around for some good amount of time, but the time we spent fishing was phenominal.

We had 8 fish 27″ or larger last night.

i went up last night, and got NO walleyes, the friend I took up with me did land a 35 inch Muskie, that I’m guessing was about 12-13 pounds, was going to make a report in a few minutes.

So Im wondering what is worse. Going up to Mille Lacs and haveng a slow night or going up there, getting on the fish (large fish), and haveing the boat take a dump on you so you are left on the side lines watching others reel in fish.
The final bonus fish or nail in the coffin was the 27″er I picked up while running the boat into shore on the trolling motor. Still wondering how long the trolling motor batteries would of lasted tonight if I stayed out.

    Not a happy camper.

That’s too bad Mike. Getting skunked is always a possibility and not anything to get p.o.’d about. But breakdowns suck! I got a tank of bad gas a couple of months ago and I wanted to scream at how crappy my outboard was running. I learned my lesson and now only by premium at gas stations I’m sure about.
