I was wondering if anyone has used the scheels 5 ft pole when pulling cranks and if they have how did you like it? Also what size and power pole do you use when you are trying to fish with 4 poles but theres to many boats to use planner boards, I mean how long of a pole do you use for going out the back of the boat. Has anyone used the Smithwick Mr. Walleye Deep Rogue Jr.? Thanks

You might want to consider some down rigger rods they are two piece and you can get them to almost 10ft for the front rods and then get extections for your rear rod holders so they can be used dirrectly behind moter.I use this when I have simular situations and it doesn,t work to bad. Depending on where your fishing and speed don,t rule out 3-way and cranks that can keep front rods at 90 degree
