We need two feet of water down here! Please send within 2 weeks. I appreciate the fact that you’ve given me the opportunity to mark every, and I mean every, log that would normally be submerged down here, but enough is enough.

I’m not asking for much, just two measly feet. I’m on call next weekend, so I won’t need it next weekend. Now remember, I said 2 feet… Don’t go and get yourselves all uppity and be thinking you are going to send 4 feet… That attitude won’t do either of us any good.

If you absolutely can’t send any, could someone just tell the Corps that the duck hunters are really happy with the water levels this year? If the Corps hears that, they’ll surely do every thing they can to irritate the duck hunters…

    Thanks for your cooperation…

I’ll double flush from here on out.

On a serious note it did rain here over the last couple days. No heavy down pours but the smaller creeks in some areas did look to be up a little.

Must be them folks in LaX to PdC keeping it all.
Jeff, if you get some, make sure to pass some along to the next couple pools!

Don’t blame us guys in the LaX Pools either. We’ve been at low tide all year.

Herbie’s the one keeping all the water. Heaven knows, he loves his high water!

We’ve been up and down all year. Right now we are at normal pool with above normal current. By tuesday we will be 1/2 foot above, not bad there, but the current is supposed to go up another 10,000 cfs. That’s what kills the fishing down here since this pool is so narrow to begin with and no backwaters to find slower flows.
I guess if I lived on one of the upper pools you wouldn’t hear me complain other than the confusion of trying to decide what species to go after.

I apologize for the low waters this year. Often I would take baths on mississippi way up Narthhhh and my mere size would block the river during that period. Of course I was doing some moonshinin’ as well and I had to barracade the river for that as well. I had no idea my activities up in northern MN would have that bad of an impact. I’m sorry.

    Thanks, Bill
