Crystal Lake, Burnsville…ice?

    Can anyone tell me the ice conditions on crystal lake in Burnsville? Thanks.

    Sorry Steve, I don’t get down south much. The lakes on the north side of the cities have between 4-10″ depending on the lake’s size and depth.

    Why do want to fish Crystal again? You already got the fish of a lifetime. Just ribbing you a little. I don’t fish Crystal, but I was on Prior last weekend, it had 3 inches. I saw a news report last night from a lake in Lakeville area that had 6″ of ice. I’m guessing it’s walkable.

    I don’t live far from Crystal and will try to do a drive by this weekend. I’ll let you know what’s up there. Probably a little weak right now with the warm weather we’ve been having.

    I drove by Crystal Sunday afternoon. Ice didn’t look great… but did see 4-5 portables out in the east bay.
