Wow, I thought all the home games were sold out. The last game I went to was the one they lost to the Giants a couple years ago, sending them into the huge lossing streak. Since then, they’ve banned me from the Humpty-Dome.

I hope they sell all those tickets! I like watching them play.

Geez, wouldn’t be a bi-product of the 4th highest average ticket price in the league could it?

Or maybe it’s a reflection of the high moral fibre of this team.

Or maybe it’s because the team and division suck and nobody cares?

Or the most likely senerio is the TWINS rock!

In any case until ice up I don’t really care about them one way or another.

I with you Lip Ripper. I don’t think the extension cord will reach to my deer stand. I guess I will have to watch the highlights(or lowlights) or ESPN when I get home.

I will watch a game every now and again. For example, i watched the Monday night game, and watched another one 5-6 years ago.

I have an IDA addiction, but certainly not one for the NFL

I just don’t think the pheasants, deer, walleyes, and assorted other animals care about the Viks

I could care less about the Twins or baseball in general. Blackout or not, the Vikes will be there doing their job and we won’t see a “Lockout”.

I pray every week for a Vikings black out. Even if I were one to sit and watch the tube on a Sunday afternoon in the fall I sure wouldn’t be watching the Vikings. I do take my headset radio with me to the treestand or in the boat to listen to the Packer game and to listen to NFL scores to see who is beating the Vikings.

    Go Iowa,

Love your post. I didn’t say the Pack would win more then a few this year, albeit it is a long season. But in a city of less then 200,000 their is something special about the Packer Franchise, win or lose.

The game did not sell out in time. I wouldnt pay $52 to sit behind a pole either.. Zigy better start building his own stadium. Think of the millions lost in local advertising over $20,000 worth of tickets.

Where did you see this? I looked on the ‘net and all I could find was that Carolina returned 400 tickets today.

I dont know if KSTP dropped the ball on this. But I read in todays paper that the 400 tickets the Panthers returned are not being counted as unsold tickets. The Vikings claim the game is sold out and will be on TV..
