Please give a warm welcome to our newest In-DepthAngling staff member, Mark Johnson!
Mark will be reporting on the St. Croix, Mille Lacs, & Mississippi River Pool 2 and 4. He will provide reports on various species but has a particular interest in providing Muskie reports. Mark is a real estate agent with Edina Realty and is now an IDA sponsor! Mark has teamed with In-DepthAngling to offer a $300 gift certificate for any IDA member who buys or sells property through him! Here’s a little from Mark, in his own words…
“I was born in Princeton, MN(1971) and raised in Hudson, WI since I was 1 year old. I graduated high school in 1989 and college from UW Steven Point in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource Management/minor in water resources. I have been in Real Estate sales since 1997. I have always had the luxury of using a boat and the opportunity to fish many different areas from the southern US to Canada. I participate in 2-3 walleye tournaments a year between the St. Croix and Mille Lacs. My partner and I have taken 1st place 4 times in the local Ham Room tournament and 3rd in Cemstones walleye tournament on Mille Lacs this year. I primarily fish walleye and muskie, but have spent a lot of time in the past for trout, flathead cats and ice fishing in general. I have really enjoyed IDA over the last couple of years and pretty much determined that this is the only site for great fishing information without the banter and cheap shots you see on other sites. I would like to get more involved with IDA and fish more tournaments with IDA members. I have also setup advertising on IDA for my real estate business to create more relationships that way too. Involvement is the key to success with everything!! I am also a very avid deer hunter, guide for an outfitter in Buffalo Co. WI and have a lot to contribute to the seasonal deer hunting forum which seems to be getting more popular by the minute.
