You’re right, Brian. The 70’s are a bit blurred. But if I remember correctly, the kids were 4 and 2, I was working overtime and going to night school for an engineering degree, played on 4 softball teams, 2 broomball teams, 2 football teams, and bowled, hunted geese, pheasants and deer, trapped mink, and raised a garden. Not much time for fishing in those days except for studying in the fish house. That’s why it takes me a couple of minutes to get out of bed in the morning these days.

Man, where did all that energy go?

I was 6 so I was probably watching Rin-Tin-Tin, Lassie, and Tom & Jerry cartoons

I was 6 also, remember Sunday morning TV. Grizzly Adams and AWA wrestling. That was the best

Working in the tunnels of West Fort Hood. Go in when it is dark and when I came out it was dark. Area that I worked in was a 30 minute walk from the entrance. Tunnels where big enough to get a semi in. I was a Sargeant then.

I was caught and released by Janie Richmond that year, and was a JR. at Cretin HS. Working at Rudolph’s BBQ on Randolph and Fairview in St. Paul. Paid my way through high school having….well let’s just say…”Parties” as this is a family site.

This time in 1978 I would have been 2 almost 3 getting ready for my parents wedding. So other than that I’m sure I wasn’t doing much except for getting in trouble.
