Mustad Pike hook

Has any one ever used one of the Mustad Pike Hooks? How are they to use? They look like they would be a good hook for Bobber fishing for Northerns. If you have used them please give me short review of the product. Thanx, Bob.

IF by “pike hook” you mean a Swedish style hook they’re very effective but quite hard on the fish. If you’re fishing a body of water with a length limit or you just want to have the option of releasing the fish alive I’d suggest a treble hook instead.

I’ve switched to circle hooks and have had no problems. Gotta love that lip hook!!
