    Thanks IDA!

My boat sold Saturday morning! The $ are really going to help this winter. Your going to enjoy the rig, Jordy – THANKS!

I also want to publicly thank Derek Johnston for offering a guided trip to anyone who puchased my boat. What an amazing act of generosity. And to someone he’s never even met! There is no way I can articulate what that meant to me. If I EVER book a guide trip on Mille Lacs I know who I’ll call, and every opportunity I get I’ll tell people what you did for me. Thanks Derek!

IDA and the people associated with it are clearly a class act and we are all very fortunate to have this resource.

I may have sold my boat, but I’ll have another one someday and I will definately continue to visit this site. I learn a lot, and I feel like I know many of you even though we’ve never met personally.

Over the years I’ve watched this site go from a great informational resource to a on line “community”. This is an example of the good the internet is capable of.

    Thanks again!

    Scott

Glad to here your boat deal worked out!

..as far as Derek goes…he puts on a tuff front…but he’s really just a ball of mush…fishing mush…but mush just the same!

I checked out the original post, and all I can say is that was a very classy thing to do Derek. My hat is off to you for helping out.

Glad to hear you were able to get the boat sold. Looks like a nice rig for whoever got it.

If you are looking to get on the river sometime, PM me. I fish that pool as often as I can, and will be on the water all winter long (hunting season excluded)

heck, even though I don’t live down around that area, would gladely let you have a seat in my boat for the day of fishing. all we will have to do is follow James or Dustin around and look through binos to see what they are pitching for them eyes and we can get some fish in the boat.

Derek, thanks for offering your services to help out a fellow IDA member, that is huge!!

    thanks

I know of a couple boats down there that I can follow around, I am sure that they will lead us to some fish

    Jack, Brent and Shane,

Thanks for the offer to take me out. I just might take you up on it. Yes, it was a heck of a price and it stings a little, but I had to sell it and it wasn’t moving at the previous price,so…..

    Thanks guys,
    Scott
