This morning, as I was having the first cup of “Joe” in the family room , I noticed a Coyote in my back yard. He was just laying there chewing on something. Hopefully the neighbors cat. He then walked over to my pear tree, looked up and tried to reach a pear by standing on his hind legs. No success, He then jumped up and actually picked a pear from the tree, ran back to where he was before, layed down and ate the pear. Then he went back and stole another pear and ran off. I did not know coyotes would eat fresh fruit. Has anyone else noticed ‘yotes eating fruit?

Coyotes are opportunistic critters. They will eat anything from berries to moose if the opportunity exists. They do love cats

I’m thinking a nice pear glaze, some green beans and silvers of almonds and a nice glass of Chardonnay and you’ll have yourself a nice dinner
