It was 2.09 in Greene, IA. Hopefully we are paying a dollar 1.99 or less by Thanksgiving on my next long trip.

Back up to $2.35 here. $.25 jump from this morning. Anyone hear what the latest excuse is? Space Shuttle, the Pope, White Sox?

    Probably the Coup in Thailand.

It takes a lot of gas to get those tanks and military vehicles running.

Mossydan, Does that men the price of corn is going down too? Just kidding, this is a good thing since I will be traveling to Iowa 3-4 times in the next couple of months.

I don’t keep up much anymore on the price of corn or beans, i never did farm but i did enjoy hearing the prices. What for? i don’t know…$2.02 this morning, only 3 cents to go! They don’t jump prices here, they used to but they don’t and haven’t for quite awhile, 20 years or more. What a way to get votes, promise to pass a bill to stop the pump gouging for any reason, only for absolute and legitimate reasons if they have too. Thats probably worth 1/2 million votes in minnesota.

The gas prices have been high and did create a blank spot in the wallet but are coming down so it really doesn’t bother me. And, as long as I never have to drive an Al Gore, all demos. must go hug a tree, go green, hybrid car and can stick with my 5.7 liter, 345 horsepower, 375 lbs. of torque dodge hemi…things will be okay! Haha! Nothing comes in between a Minnesota chick and her truck! Haha. ~Tara~

Interesting how prices vary. Went to the deer shack in northern WI Friday and filled in Red Wing for $2.91 at KwikTrip. Was going to fill in Rochester before I left at $3.12 but forgot. Thought oh well prices are dropping, glad I saved a couple bucks. Came home Sunday night and still $2.91 in RW and now $3.10 in Roch. Guess I should have filled up again.

That is strange, how the gas price fluxiated so much. Although, way up north here the gas price only increases about 4 to 5 cents at a time and than varies by 1 to 2 cents at the various gas stations going across the counties. -Tara-
