Still waiting to hear from some friends (and catfishin’ buddies) who have a farm on Hwy 99 just West of Nicollet…

    Let’s hope everything is OK.

I second Love2fish’s sentiment. Hope all is well and families are safe. Prayers go out to all those effected.

DAMAGE IN SOME AREAS IS WORSE THAN WHAT YOUVE SEEN ON THE NEWS. THERE ARE ALOT OF NEWS CREWS OUT TODAY.
MOST PLACES HAVE MORE HELP THAN THEY CAN HANDLE ALREADY.
BEST THING YOU CAN DO IS SUPPORT THE RED CROSS!

My brother was picking sweet corn between Nicollet and St.Peter yesterday. He went to look for refuge at a farm, but no one was home. He ended up driving north to get out of the path. When he went back to his picker later on, the farm was leveled. I really hope your friends are alright.

It was nasty out that way. Lake Emily near St. Peter had the only fatality that I know of. It is sad.
