home made wave wacker question?

I have a buddy going up to Ontario over labor day who asked me a question that I could not answer, thought someone here may have a better shot. Problem: when trolling with one of the small lodge boats forward, he has a hard time keeping the front end from swaying back and forth… I suggested back trolling, his response was that especially on windy days he gets lots of water over the back of the boat which he (and his wife) does’nt like. So, since he is using a rental boat, is there any way a guy can rig up some sort of wave wackers that could be attached somehow to these rental boats?

    thanks for help.

sure, a guy can make their own wacker!

take truck mud flaps and screw/bolt two “orange, spring loaded wood clamps” that you get from Menards to each one. They are adjustable and will do the job. They just ain’t pretty.

    Good idea!

I think that would even impress MacGuyver!
