Lake Independance

    Anybody been out on Independance lately?
    Couple guys here at work and I plan on venturing out thier next Thursday.

    Josh was out there last thursday night fishing League. They caught alot of bass and a few northern on the docks and northeast point.

    Hey Doug I was out there two weeks ago for fishing leauge and like dad said I got a couple bass and a small muskie. I got them on the point just to the north of the Hennepin Parks boat launch and in the bay across the lake from the landing. Got the fish on plastic worms and spinnerbaits. Didn’t get a chance to try for some walleyes out there though. If you want to try for them there is a hump that comes up to about 12′ (I think 12′, but not sure) kind of in the middle of the main part of the lake. It’s kind of hard to explain where it is without showing you. Are you coming up to Mille Lacs this weekend? If you are I can show you on a map I have.
