The Fishing Tree, through the city of Spring Grove, Minnesota will be teaching children the basics of ‘How to Fish’ including casting, fish identification, basic fishing rules, basic knots & fishing techniques. The initial classes will be August 7-10 from 11am to Noon for ages 5 to 9, and August 14-17 from 11am to Noon for ages 10 to 15. There is a $10 program fee per student. At the end of the class, each student will be presented a certificate, a new fishing rod & reel and some fishing tackle. The class will be held at the Spring Grove Aquatic Center.
