    Hey guys,

I am outfitting my boat and I was wondering what the best brand of rod holders are. I had Scotty’s on my last boat and both were ruined by muskies. Any info is much appreciated. Thanks!

I really like the tite-locs. Pulling dipseys on Lake Erie can be really hard on equipment. The pair of three bangers that I have are three years old and still look/work like brand new….

I use the Action Rod holders. They’ve worked well for me and are economically priced at about $20 for a 2 pack.

    Chris,

The best rod holders you can get are the Down East Salty’s “HANDS DOWN”!!!!!!

You can set rods straight off the back and a fish cannot take the rod out of the holder. They have the easiest release……..you just pick straight up on the rod and your fighting the fish!!!!!!! They go for around $22

    Good luck!
