Took a trip up to Mission Lake in Crow Wing last weekend. We worked the weed edges in about 12 feet of water. Rattling Raps and Swimming Jigs worked best. We fished about 8 hours on saturday and probably caught close to 40 Largemouth. All the locals seemed to be having simmilar luck. Supposedly the crappie bite has also been good. Overall it was a good weekend despite the weather.

Hi, I was just wondering if you had any problems with the landing on Mission. I was there a week ago and it looked like there was about 6 inches of water out from the hole at the dock. This was on upper. It looked too shallow for me so I went to Serpent in Crosby instead. Glad to hear the fish cooperated, that always makes it a fun day.

We were on Sunset Bay resort so we used the launch there. I did see the public launch and it did look lower than usual. There were only a couple boats that I saw using it so maybe it is too shallow right now. The water is definately down.
