Bite in St. Louis County, the last two weeks have been HOT, both above and below the surface of the water! Orange spinner, crawler harnesses, with live or fake worms, is producing 15-19 inch walleyes on Whisper Lake! im fishing 15 ft deep in 22 feet of water, trolling just fast enough to keep the larger gills from robbing the bait. Walleye seem to prefer between 2 and 3 pm, mostly sunny or no cloud days… they are biting as well from shore as they are in the boat! Mostly catch and release, 2 for the frying pan. will post pics tomorrow!
