All I say is what a fishery, Lake Erie is without a doubt a top place to visit to bag a personal best trophy in my opinion. The lake is alive and well and hopefully with proper management good sport angling ethics, it will remain this way for a long time!!!! I am not sure how many fish over 9lbs we caught and released over the pracrice period. And all those interested in pulling crankbaits for suspended walleyes in cold water, check out my product review on the Smithwick Suspending Spoonbill Super Rogues from Lake Erie PWT. These baits were magical for me throughout the practice and tourney days, unfortunately I could not capitilize on a couple lost fish for the final day but thats fishin! Here is the link to my review,

The FoggTogg rainwear you see me wearing in the 3rd pic down was unbelievably lightweight to wear. I literally did not feel like I was wearing a rainsuit. Along with being lightweight, I had full range of motion without any restrictions and also have a lightweight pullover hood with a draw string to sinch up on those wet runs or “horizontal rains”.
A couple things that I did miss on the rainwear was “pockets” and velcro wrist cuffs. The elastic wrist cuffs kept most all water out when your arms were bent upward, but when you reach for something and stretch out, the elastic wrist bands tend to want to creep up your arm stay there after you return to original position.
Why do I like pockets you say? Well, not really sure on this one other than a place to put your hands when the cold rain is coming down and the fish are not biting! LOL
All in all, it kept me bone dry. This may be a great “summer” rainsuit for those warm sticky drizzly days.
Thanks Jim for the rooting power! I needed all of it for the last day. Yeah, I am a green horn rookie out there giving it a whirl. It has and will be a blast and huge learning experience. Hopefully you will see me up there soon!
