The Detroit Lakes area has been hit this last week with warm temps, rain, and high winds. These are all helpful weather elements to open up our waters. Some small ponds have started to open and the lakes have a beautiful gray hue to them. We have no snow left on the ground. I look for some open water crappie action to start in about 2-3 wks. Notice how much better everyones attitude is in the spring?
