    You will notice that the number you look at is always a multiple of 9. All multiples of 9 are the sames symbol. Pretty cool though!

    when you add the 2 digits and get the final score it is the same of that group of numbers.
    Example:
    23-5=18 24-6=18——-all 20’s=18
    30-3=27 31-4=27——-all 30’s=27
    40-4=36 47-11=36——all 40’s=36
    And so on and so forth

    so they use the same symbol for the nine numbers that are represented. Simple but it looks confusing. It took me awhlie to figure this out but it makes sense.

    It is funny listening to you young bucks figure this one out. It is such old school, it was before the calculator

    Hold all ten digits out in front of you…….4×9=36.
    Hold your fourth digit on your left hand down…….count the first 3 as tens……everything else behind that digit as ones…make sence
    It works with any 9 equation. The brains just took the number 9 one step further. Cool hey?
