    Its awhile yet to the opener and the ice will be coming off the lakes soon. We all need a fishing fix so why wait when there are fish we can fish for. Whats your favorite panfish lake and presentation?

    Slip bobber and worm

    Slip bobber and leech

    Slip bobber and jig

    Casting jig and live bait

    Casting hair jig

    I like casting little joe spinners for the Crappies. In a close second would be throwing out the bobber with a Premium in hand.

    Depends on the lake. In Minnesota I like 1/32 and 1/64 ounce chartruese jigs with 1 inch twisters for Bowstring crappies. On lake Pepin I go with 1/32 and1/64 chartruese jigs with 1 inch twisters. Hmmmm… a pattern seems to be developing…….Miller Lite works well with both presentations but on windy days it is easier to stay vertical with Bud………..B
