English River (Halleys Camps-Ontario)

    I am headed to the English River (Halleys Camps-Caribou Falls Landing to be more specific) this weekend. This is my first time to this place, and am wondering if anyone has been there before and would be willing to share some spots that hold fish. You can PM me if you do not want to share your secret hot spots with everyone. Thanks a bunch!!!

    Look for a place called DUCK Island to start. DRIFTING. Good smallmouth as well as nice eyes. We caught several in 29-30 range over a couple of years.
    Best bet, talk to other fisherman up there.
    We hauled in leeches at the time. They were still legal to bring accross the border.
