I just recently purchased a Navionics Premium North chip from Jolly Ann .This is my first chip and I am very impressed with it. It is much more accurate than I thought it would be. I don’t have any experience with LakeMaster so I really can’t help you there.

I would imagine Wade Kuehl will respond to this as he is THE MAN when it comes to electronics. Wade is also a great sponsor of IDA and cannot be beat as fare as prices and service.

    Both are good.
It really depends one what lakes YOU fish. I have both and switch back and forth depending on what lake I am on. Look at the lake lists and choose the one that will work better for you.

I agree with Ron. Both are very good chips. Take a look at the lake list on each product and decide which one will work best for you. Navionics is a site sponsor here so if you take a look at both and it’s still a toss up for you you might give them the edge for helping us keep IDA going strong. But get the best product for YOUR lakes. I should mention, one bonus on the Navionics chip is that it covers MN, WI, IA, ND, SD and MI all on one chip. It also includes the Canada side on both LOTW and Rainy, as well as a good chunk of the Great Lakes. I use it in my boat and am very pleased. One of the benefits of the Lakemaster chip is that it zooms in a little closer. I know a lot of people who use both chips and will switch, depending on what lake they’re on.
