I recently acquired a boat that included a 1999 Hummingbird Wide Eye. I’ve used it twice and really don’t care for it. Anybody have one or have used one have any thoughts. My old boat has a Lowrance x85 that I think will most likely replace the Wide Eye.
Ccoops, Though I am a tried and true Velixar Edge man I will say that Hummingbird has always been an “affordable” lower end fish finder. You are much better off with an X 85 but do yourself a favor and check out the Vexilar Edge LC- 507. It will really impress you with its ease of use and the great picture it gives you of the bottom, fish etc.
